GTA系列走到今天，每一部作品都是热门大作，早在2004年发售的《侠盗猎车手：圣安地列斯》当年更是登上了人气游戏的顶峰，就有一位玩家从那时开始实施自己的疯狂麦克斯MOD计划，经历这么多年依然没有放弃，引起了其他玩家们的注意和点赞。

•《侠盗猎车手：圣安地列斯》是由Rockstar Games制作的一款围绕犯罪为主题的开放式动作冒险游戏，游戏于2004年登陆PS2平台。背景城市设定在了圣安地列斯，游戏主角卡尔•约翰逊在得悉母亲被杀死的消息后，回到位于洛圣都的老家，渐渐解开母亲被杀事件的内情并复兴帮派、开拓自己的事业。该游戏在2005年被NUTS评为年度极致游戏，同时也获得了五项金摇杆奖。

•这名执着的玩家名为Aaron Deneau，非常喜欢当时的好评电影《疯狂的麦克斯2》，于是早在《侠盗猎车手：圣安地列斯》当年发售前8个月就开始了MOD的开发，并成功的在2004年10月26日游戏发售日当天同步发布了自己的首个MOD《Mad Max 2 Road Warrior》，尽管是个半成品。

•不过Deneau始终没有放弃MOD的继续开发，期间招募了不少志愿者，不过由于各种原因离开了开发组，其本人也在2016年时碍于家庭原因一度中止过开发，之后挺过2年低潮期后，下定决心就算花费毕生的经历也要完成这个MOD。

•毕竟Deneau的个人能力有限，这个快20年开发期的MOD至今还有大量工作要做，感兴趣的高玩可以去Deneau的个人主页参详或者支援。
